My comment on a New York Post news story was rejected by the New York Post. The story headline was
‘Hateful bigot’ attacks Jewish man in NYC lobby with unhinged rant: ‘I want ISIS to kill all of you!’ https://nypost.com/2025/02/07/us-news/hateful-bigot-attacks-jewish-man-in-nyc-lobby-video/
My comment was rejected, along with my appeal which was also rejected.
Here is my comment:
"Is
she mentally ill? Or an anti-Semitic domestic terrorist? Or both? In any
event she should not be allowed to walk around attacking Jews (or any other race,
religion, gender, creed, et al) BTW, if someone attacks you don’t you have the
right to defend yourself?"
What is unacceptable about my comment? Not a f-ing thing! The New York Post says it doesn't use censorship. Apparently, in my opinion, in rejecting my comment, it did. Does the NYP use AI to monitor/reject reader comments? If so, watch out.
UPDATE
A bit later I received this email from the New York Post:
